Things to Do
There are several parks in South Miami offering a wide variety of sports and recreational facilities.
Palmer Park extends over 8.5 acres with five fields for baseball and softball, two batting cages, and a multi-purpose playing field. 3.4-acre
Murray Park has two basketball courts, youth and t-ball fields, a playground, and lots of picnic tables and charcoal grills.
Fuchs Park features a sand volleyball court, a scenic pond that attracts many water birds, and a playground. Amenities at Dante Fascell Park include six clay tennis courts, a pro beach volleyball court, handball courts, and a gated playground area with a tot lot.
