South Pointe Park is a beautiful spot at the southern tip of Miami Beach. This masterfully landscaped green space is just steps from the sands of South Beach. The 450-foot South Point Pier juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. You can fish on the pier or simply take in stunning panoramic views of the Miami skyline, Biscayne Bay, and Fisher Island. Popular activities on the adjacent beach include surfing, paddleboarding, sunbathing, and volleyball. South Pointe Park also has a splash pad and playground for kids.
Haulover Park on Miami Beach’s eastern Atlantic coastline features a marina, tennis courts, and a designated dog park.
Miami Beach is a lively destination at any time of year, but this is especially true when the city hosts one of its major annual festivals and events. In early January,
South Beach Jazz Festival features free performances from some of the world’s best jazz musicians. February’s
South Beach Wine & Food Festival is a gastronomic celebration with a wide-ranging lineup of events, including premier food tastings, glitzy lunches and dinners, and numerous late-night afterparties. Miami Beach’s LGBT community comes to the forefront at vibrant events including March’s
