Biscayne Bay is an incredible recreation destination that is right on your doorstep! Some of the most popular activities on Biscayne Bay include boating, jet skiing, and kayaking. The grand 1920s Charles Deering Estate sits in a spectacular Bayfront location atop a limestone ridge. Nature trails run through the estate’s diverse habitat, which includes 87 acres of pine rockland, rare tropical hardwood hammock, and coastal wetlands. The Deering Estate hosts many events throughout the year, including an annual
Vintage Auto Show.
Thalatta Estate is another architectural gem on the Bayshore. This elegant 1920s Mediterranean estate is a popular wedding venue. Other events held at the estate include a Father’s Day Vintage Auto Show. There are many gorgeous green spaces within Palmetto Bay. 50-acre
Coral Reef Park has sports facilities and areas of preserved pineland.
